Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, familiarity with e-commerce processes, and the ability to operate various equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them accurately.
Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse safely.
Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory systems (MRP).
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment for e-commerce operations.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role within a distribution center is preferred.
Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.
Familiarity with e-commerce shipping processes is a plus.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory tracking.
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification may be required.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
