Job Description:
A company is looking for a Facility Coder Educator.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and coordinates training materials and programs for Health
Information Management staff and other personnel
Assesses skills and competencies of new hires and provides
orientation and training on job skills
Maintains educational records and conducts continuing education
sessions for staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare
administration, or related field
Certification as RHIA, RHIT, or CCS from AHIMA or AAPC, or CPC
certification for ambulatory coding
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare information
management
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical record
documentation
Proficiency in common office and presentation software, and
healthcare applications
