Position Title: Meat Market

Location: Kims #47 - Flint, TX

Salary Range: $11.00 - $14.00 Hourly

Description: Kim's Convenience Stores is a rapidly growing convenience store chain, currently having 20 locations with two more opening soon. We are searching for friendly, energetic, and highly motivated candidates to join our team! Market clerks work directly under the supervision of the store manager. Market clerks may be asked to slice deli meat or cut down larger pieces of meat for display at the meat counter. Market clerks work directly with customers and must have great customer service skills.
In addition, meat clerks must keep the counter and work area clean and maintain all food safety standards. If working with knives or slicers, meat clerks must make sure they are properly trained and observe all safety procedures. Responsibilities:

• Providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions
• Ordering the proper amount of product for lunch meat and cheese cases
• Filling lunch meat and cheese cases
• Rotating product within date and properly displaying it in refrigerated cases.
• Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
• Verifying ad prices, hanging current sale sign, and removing out-of-date sale signs
• Performing routine price changes on lunch meat and cheese products
• Cleaning section and sweeping and mopping sales area and stock room.
• Setting up displays
• Fulfilling sanitation and safety guidelines
