Job Responsibilities:

• Develops and Maintains Store Layout and Merchandising: Design and implement visually appealing store displays and product arrangements that drive sales and customer engagement.
• Works with Team Leader to Achieve Sales and Labor Targets: Collaborate with the Team Leader to set and achieve sales, purchasing, and labor goals, ensuring the department runs efficiently and effectively.
• Assists in Sales and Expense Analysis: Analyze sales reports and labor data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to the Team Leader to inform strategic decisions.
• Assists in Budget Preparation: Contribute to the development of annual sales and expense projections, ensuring the department's financial goals are aligned with company objectives.
• Assists with Ordering and Inventory Management: Work with the Team Leader to manage inventory levels, ensure accurate ordering, and maintain a well-stocked department.
• Resolves Team Concerns and Issues: Address team member concerns and issues, providing support and guidance to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
• Functions as Department Lead in Absence: Assume responsibility for the department in the Team Leader's absence, ensuring seamless operation and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains Retail Execution Standards: Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Fosters a Positive Team Environment: Promote a culture of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale, recognizing and rewarding team members' achievements.
• Directs Team Members to Satisfy Customers: Monitor customer flows and needs, directing team members to provide prompt and courteous service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Develops and Mentors Team Members: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel team members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Maintains Team Member Safety and Security: Communicate and maintain team member safety and security standards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
• Provides Performance Evaluations: Conduct timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations, recognizing and rewarding team members' achievements and areas for growth.
• Communicates Company Vision and Goals: Consistently communicate and model the company's vision and goals, inspiring team members to strive for excellence.
