Base Pay Range: $73,100.00 - $124,300.00Primary Location:
USA-TX-Richardson-KLAKLA's total rewards package for employees may

are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed

Description/Preferred QualificationsCustomer Service Engineers are
core to KLA's technology, while we do not currently have an

KLA.PRIMARY PURPOSEThe primary responsibility for a KLA Field
Support Engineer: perform repair & maintenance activity inside a
semiconductor plant on Bright-Field, Dark-Field, Macro/Micro
inspection, Thin Film, Resistivity & Surface measurement, and
Optical Metrology equipment. Service activities include modifying,
troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital
equipment at inside customer premises.--- Represent the company to
the customer and assume accountability for customer satisfaction
with service performance--- Assure optimum quality of system
equipment--- Coordinate actions with customers to maximize
production time.RESPONSIBILITIES--- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose and
fix technical problems--- Repair and modify equipment at customer
facility--- Repair some board level problems using standard
procedures, oscilloscope, and volt meters--- Repair of system level
problems based on KLA technical knowledge and KLA training--- Once
Trained, provide guidance and technical assistance to other
Engineers as needed --- Up to 20% travel in North America to
support other customer facilities, as well as training--- Conduct
customer orientation training on all aspects of equipment user
applications--- Prepare/Document reports on support activity to
customers--- Provide timely billing invoice to customer for service
activity.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Level Degree or work
experience of 3 years.Preferred Electrical Engineering or
Electro-mechanical degree.The company offers a total rewards
