Job Description:
OverviewUT Health Quitman seeks a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to support patient care and diagnosis.Your Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and special laboratory procedures to ensure accurate test results.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement tasks to maintain laboratory excellence.
- Provide support in new employee training and proficiency
testing.Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and
principles.Preferred Qualifications:
- ASCP or equivalent certification.
